GAVI
 

Gavi, located near Periyar Tiger Reserve, is a beautiful forest haven. It located in the District of Pathanamthitta Dist at 3400ft above sea level. The forest is home for a variety of wildlife including tiger, elephants, leopards, bears, Indian gaur, sambar, deers, lion tailed macaque etc.
Bird watchers can see a variety of 300 species of birds like great Indian hornbills, sunbirds, woodpeckers, kingfishers etc.
Gavi often serves as a base camp for deep jungle trekkers, birdwatchers, nature lovers and research students
