The home stay is located on Philipkutty’s farm on the backwaters of Kumarakom in the state of Kerala, south India. You will be hosted by a prominent family in the region - Mr. Vinod’s Pallivathukkal family. The host stays on the farm along with his wife Anu, son Philip and mother Aniamma. The host manages a 50 acre farm, which is around 5 feet below sea level. It has an interesting mix of inter crop cultivation’s. You can experience from close the cultivation of commercial crops.

Food is definitely one of the highlights of staying at Philipkuttys farm. The cuisine is mostly local and cooked by my skilful mother. Being a traditional agrarian household, lavish meals are more or less the norm and pretty much a way of life. All meals are included in the price. All the three villas are spacious, independent and located on the outer dyke facing the peaceful backwaters. |
